How I can help

Through one-on-one counselling, I help people address:

Anxiety and depression

Childhood trauma

Low self-esteem

Life transitions

Grief and loss

Relational and interpersonal issues

Workplace issues and burnout

Communication issues

Stress and panic attacks

Relationship and intimacy issues

Taking the initial step to seek professional help can be challenging.

Whether you're stepping into counselling for the first time or returning with prior experience, it's natural to have questions about what lies ahead. My goal is to cultivate an atmosphere where individuals feel secure to explore their thoughts, behaviours, and emotions, free from judgment. Building a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship is key for a meaningful counselling experience, which is why I prioritize authentically getting to know you.

What to expect
My Approach

My practice is informed by the following therapeutic approaches:

Relationally focused therapy

Developing a strong therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client is central to the work we will do together. Relational patterns from outside of therapy show up within a counselling session, and there we have the opportunity to explore new ways of relating within a safe space.

Person-centred therapy

This method is based on the humanistic belief that clients naturally possess a drive for growth and self-actualization, using this inner force for therapeutic change. In this framework, the counsellor plays a crucial role in creating a nonjudgmental environment that supports sincere and open self-exploration.

Emotion-focused therapy

Emotions are a key element in psychological well-being. Together we will examine and validate emotions rather than avoiding or suppressing them, allowing us to explore the role of emotions in shaping thoughts and behaviours.

Holistic approach

With a trauma-informed lens, other modalities I enjoy working with are Mindfulness & Meditation and Somatic Based Therapies.
